Drone shows in Whitefish Bay and Shorewood
The North Shore villages celebrate the season on their main streets, and Whitefish Bay has a bluff-top park over Lake Michigan.
Holiday Stroll
On the Friday after Thanksgiving, Whitefish Bay’s Holiday Stroll fills Silver Spring Drive with store open houses, a 6 p.m. parade ending with Santa and reindeer, and a tree lighting at Consaul Commons. Shorewood’s Winterfest lights a tree and menorah at Wood Square.
Klode Park
Klode Park, the village’s first public park, sits on the bluff above the lake and hosts July 4 fireworks over the water. Village parks close at 9 p.m., and for-profit activities with more than 10 people need a permit from the Village Clerk-Treasurer at least 30 days ahead.
Airspace
Western parts of both villages are near Timmerman Airport’s five-nautical-mile zone. The team checks and contacts the tower if needed.
Shows start at 150 drones; see typical budgets in the cost guide or run the show planner for Whitefish Bay and Shorewood.
