Drone shows in West Bend
West Bend’s Christmas parade is billed as Wisconsin’s longest-running, and thousands line downtown for it.
The parade
It runs on the Sunday evening after Thanksgiving, with police and barricades at the intersections. With the crowd already in place, a drone show at the end needs only a launch site and a safety zone.
Riverside Park
The park hosts the July 4 fireworks and closes all day to set them up, a routine a drone show would follow too.
Airspace
West Bend Municipal Airport is roughly three miles east of downtown. It is untowered, but a field that close still shapes where the drones can go.
Shows start at 150 drones; see typical budgets in the cost guide or run the show planner for West Bend.
