Drone shows in Port Washington
Port Washington already ends its Christmas celebration with fireworks. A drone show is the natural next step.
Christmas on the Corner
On the first Saturday in December, downtown along Franklin Street fills with carriage rides, caroling, Santa, a tree lighting and an evening parade, finished with winter fireworks.
The harbor
For July 4 the fireworks go over Lake Michigan and crowds watch from the lakefront and harbor. The same setting gives a drone show a dark backdrop and reflections on the water.
Airspace
Inland, West Bend Municipal is the closest field and it is untowered. Over the water the main checks are the safety zone and the FAA notice.
Shows start at 150 drones; see typical budgets in the cost guide or run the show planner for Port Washington.
