Drone shows in Oak Creek
Oak Creek has two strong show settings: Drexel Town Square for the holidays and a Lake Michigan bluff for summer.
Light the Square
Each early December the city’s tree lighting at Drexel Town Square brings cocoa, cookies, kids’ games and Santa and Mrs. Claus. A newer town-center plaza like this suits a compact show above the square.
Lake Vista Park
Oak Creek’s July 4 fireworks are held at Lake Vista Park on the lakefront bluff, where a show over the water has a dark backdrop and wide viewing.
Airspace
Drexel Town Square is only a few miles south of Mitchell International and near its southern approaches. Air traffic control approval is needed and some launch points may be limited, so allow extra planning time.
Shows start at 150 drones; see typical budgets in the cost guide or run the show planner for Oak Creek.
