Drone shows in Greendale
Greendale was planned around its historic downtown, and its holiday kickoff lights the whole of it at once.
Tree lighting
On the Friday after Thanksgiving the village gathers outside Village Hall on Northway for carols, then a countdown lights the downtown and Santa arrives on a fire truck. A drone show could carry that countdown into the sky.
Where a show can fly
The village’s July 4 fireworks are at Brinkman Field at Greendale High School, an open site of the kind a launch area needs.
Airspace
Mitchell International lies a short drive east of the village, and the drone show team will ask its controllers for clearance if the launch point needs it.
Shows start at 150 drones; see typical budgets in the cost guide or run the show planner for Greendale.
